Reunion Island: Jewel of the Southern Indian Ocean

Elliptical in shape, Reunion Island is located in the southern Indian Ocean, 800km east of Madagascar as the crow flies, and 200km west-south-west of Mauritius Island. With a surface of 2,512 sq km and a perimeter of 207km, it is the emerged tip of a volcanic mound that rose 7,000m above the ocean floor. Pierre Constant shares his adventure to this exotic and remote island.

Malaysia International Dive Show is going to kick-start their event by holding a local market in December

Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) is back!

Our focus will be on reconnecting Malaysian dive businesses with our local dive community, stimulating the interest of fellow underwater enthusiasts to visit the many local dive destinations around Malaysia, writes Ness Puvaness, the show's organiser. 

As such, the theme this year will be ‘Let’s Meet & Dive Locally’.

JoAnn Zigahn 1947 - 2021

Joann passed quietly on October 25th, 2021 after an untimely illness.
JoAnn had a love for the fashion industry where she had her first work experience. While working in the fashion industry, JoAnn met and married Armand “Zig” Zigahn. Zig was the founder of Beneath the Sea. Soon JoAnn realized she had married both Zig and Beneath the Sea. It was a marriage and a love affair that lasted for the next thirty-eight years.
