The cards' maximum read/write speeds in their prior iterations (with capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB) were 1,750MB/s and 1,500MB/s respectively. The series now includes new 1TB and 2TB iterations.

With a minimum continuous write speed of 1,300MB/s, Lexar claims the cards can record 8K RAW footage without the fear of frame drops. The new Gold Series cards' minimum sustained write speed is just 300MB/s slower than that of Lexar's top-of-the-line Diamond Series cards.

The new bulkhead is easy to install via the M16 port and is compatible with several Ikelite 200DL and 50DL underwater housings. It also comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable that links the port to your camera within the housing. All that is left to do after installation is to unscrew the bulkhead cap and plug in.

In order to shoot proper images of the tiniest critters, even a good macro lens can easily reach its limits. When it comes to serious magnification, a close-up lens can deliver. Standard values are usually +5 and +10 diopters, sometimes with the option to stack several close-up lenses.

The UCL-90PRO and the UCL-09PRO by AOI are depth-rated to 60m (200ft) and provide a magnification of +18.5 diopters (UCL-90PRO) or +12.5 diopters (UCL-09PRO).

Each charger draws its power from the board and the number is limited only by the available space. The PWRBOARD is available in two sizes, Mini (23cm x 35cm) and Classic (33cm x 50cm). The 30+ different available charging modules (attachable to the PWRBOARD) will support batteries for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, Fujifilm, GoPro and DJI cameras, various smartphones as well as AA, AAA and V-mount batteries.

Depending on the location of the dive, different filters can be exchanged, correcting the underwater colors in blue and green waters. Additionally, a “double flip” system (two mounted interchangeable filters) is available as an extra feature.

The new CFexpress card format is rapidly being adopted by high-end cameras, such as the Canon EOS-1D X Mk III, Nikon D6, Nikon Z6 and Z7, as well as the Panasonic Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R.
The Cfexpress Card Type B is backwards-compatible with select XQD cameras that adopt firmware enabling Cfexpress.
Available memory capacities are 64, 128, 256 and 512 GB.

By using a special 50Wh battery pack, the runtime can be extended up to 6.25 hours.
