We were in Addu, the second largest “city” in the Maldives and capital of the southernmost atoll. Located 45 miles below the equator, and 540km south of Malé, this is the most remote of the 26 atolls that, scattered along almost 900km of the Indian Ocean, make up the archipelago of the Maldives.
The well-known Red Sea Blue Force 3 will make her last cruise in the Red Sea on November 19, 2022. On December 1st she will sail to the Maldives, where she will join the Blue Force Fleet schedule from March 25th, 2023, under the trade name Maldives Blue Force 3.

While the Central Atolls Route is the best-known route in the Maldives it also offers the best and most varied dives. This itinerary, which also goes by North and South Male Atolls, Vaavu and Ari, is served by our premier liveaboard Maldives Blue Force One every week from August to May.
The 7-night itinerary with embarkation and disembarkation at Male Airport includes six dive days with 18 dives and two night dives.
