Built to support divers of all levels, the Halcyon App connects seamlessly with the Halcyon Symbios Handset, offering advanced dive tracking and equipment management. The app enables users to log dives, monitor performance and receive dive tips tailored to their experience. A standout feature is its Social Logbook, which lets divers share photos, stories and milestones—fostering a connected global diving community. 

Oceanic has released the updated Oceanic+ 2.0 app, designed for integration with the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2. The app allows freedivers to dive up to 130 feet. Its Freedive mode comes with specific alarms for various diving metrics, including target depth and surface time.

The "Stealth mode" feature dims the screen underwater and returns to its regular brightness on the surface. The app provides a detailed logbook, recording each dive's specifics, from max depth to water temperature. The "Activity Map" displays dives on a global scale, differentiating between diving modes.

We love our gear and consider a kit fondling session, time well spent. (Cleaning it, maintaining it, configuring it). What we are far less excited about is auditing it. When did we buy it? Who from? How much? What is the serial number?

Now a new totally free ‘society contribution’ cloud based app has the potential to change all that. Apparently GearLog is a powerful, flexible, easy to use system that individuals, clubs, instructors and dive companies can use to manage their equipment.
