The Z9 housing has all the same features as other Isotta housings, including dual integrated adjustable handles, one-handed opening and closing via a rotary knob, dual O-ring seals on all buttons and removable parts, and an integrated moisture alarm. It is made of anodised aluminium and is finished in the company's trademark red.

The housing for the Sony a1 is built around Isotta's B120 port system with 120mm bayonet, and comes with Isotta's classic features: anodized aluminium construction, integrated adjustable handles, double O-ring seals on buttons and removable parts, Isotta’s signature one-handed open/close, and a built-in moisture detector.

There’s a large-bore M28 port for attaching recorders/monitors such as the Atomos Ninja V or Ninja V+. The housing has two fibre-optic ports as standard with Nikonos N5 or S6 bulkheads as extra options.
