Halcyon has introduced the Symbios TriSense, a compact handheld gas analyser designed to measure oxygen, helium and carbon monoxide in breathing gas mixtures. The unit was shown publicly at both the DEMA Show and boot Düsseldorf, where it attracted attention for its small form factor and solid construction. According to Halcyon, availability is expected in late spring or early summer 2026.

Halcyon has established itself as a specialist manufacturer of dive systems for technical, cave, and advanced recreational diving. A standout feature is its Social Logbook, which lets divers share photos, stories and milestones—fostering a connected global diving community. 

The Symbios HUD (Head-Up Display) offers exceptional clarity and functionality for divers seeking precision and convenience.

Designed as a companion to the Symbios dive computer, it features a high-resolution display, providing superior visibility in all light conditions with minimal power consumption. The HUD connects wirelessly to multiple cylinders, allowing real-time gas monitoring without taking your focus away from the dive.

Its unique soft-silicone design guarantees comfort and a snug fit. The easily foldable skirt not only enhances flexibility but also positions the UniVision as an ideal pocketable backup. Clear underwater vision is paramount, and Halcyon's UniVision offers an optimal blend of expansive view in a compact form, making it perfect as both a primary and backup mask.

If you are a fairly new diver in the sport, it is quite understandable if you believe sidemount diving is a pretty recent concept. In fact, this style of diving has been around for decades. However, it only entered the open water recreational diving market in 2009 / 2010.

Halcyon state the Contour SM is a 'turnkey' sidemount system. In other words, it is pretty much ready to dive from the box and doesn't need many modifications that some other units on the market require.
