Garmin Descent S1 Buoy

This advanced communication buoy integrates with the Garmin dive ecosystem.

Garmin Descent S1 Buoy

The unit allows surface crews track up to eight divers via SubWave sonar and exchange preset messages via the Garmin Dive smartphone app, which also lets networked divers view their distance and direction back to the buoy, as well as monitor depth, tank pressure and location. It offers multi-GNSS, secure 60m connectivity, 15-hour battery life, post-dive heatmaps, and a rugged, impact-resistant design, water-rated IPX8 to 10m.

Garmin Descent X50i

Garmin has launched its first “large-format“ dive computer, and it features a vibrant 3-inch colour touchscreen, a backup dive light, air integration, diver-to-diver messaging and more.

The Descent X50i, Garmin’s largest dive computer, is operated via a large, vibrant 3-inch touchscreen that makes it easy to read multiple sets of data at a glance.

In addition, using sonar technology, divers can communicate with divers underwater via text messages and simultaneously monitor the other's tank pressure, depth and distance.
