'Dive Ireland' Promises Plethora of Photography Talks
'Dive Ireland' is being held on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March 2016 in Athlone, County Westmeath.
This two day Irish show will primarily feature photography next month.
Topics slated include: 'Shooting for Publications', 'Scientific Photography', 'The challenges and rich rewards of underwater photography', 'Why doesn't auto work?" and 'Fish Portraits'.
Respected deep wreck explorer Stewie Andrews is going to talk about the challenges of deep photography. How do you select a camera that is light sensitive enough? And is the housing you want capable of going deep enough?
Meanwhile award winning photographer Dr Alex Mustard will be conducting a Masterclass in 'how to light underwater'.

NAS - Nautical Archaeology Society - are running a intro / refresher workshop focusing on underwater survey skills. Jimmy Lenehan and Rex Bangerter are leading this practical session at 13.00 on Saturday. Participants will require pool kit, i.e. scuba set, fins and mask.
