Huawei has launched the Watch Ultimate 2, a premium smartwatch designed for diving and adventure.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is a premium smartwatch engineered with diving in mind, combining smart features with robust waterproofing and novel underwater communication capabilities. It is rated for operation up to 150β―metres (20β―ATM), making it among the deepest-rated smartwatch devices currently available.
The device features a 1.5βinch LTPO AMOLED display (466 Γ 466β―px) with high peak brightness of 3,500β―nits and sapphire glass protection. Its octagonal skeletonised case is constructed from zirconiumβbased liquid metal and ceramic, combining durability with lightweight materials suited for harsh environments.
A key feature is its built-in miniβsonar system, which enables short-range underwater messaging at depths up to 30β―metresβoffering basic communication during buddy diving or guided group dives. Smartwatch connectivity includes eSIM, NFC, Bluetooth and WiFi, alongside an expanded sensor suite covering ECG, heart-rate, SpOβ, skin temperature, barometric pressure and ambient light.
Battery life is estimated at 4.5 days under typical usage, with a battery saver mode extending operational time depending on selected functions. Navigation and workout tracking, including dive logs and GPS support, are integrated through Huaweiβs platform.
The Watch Ultimate 2 is designed for divers, freedivers and outdoor users who want the fusion of a dive-capable instrument with the lifestyle and health monitoring features of a full smartwatch.
