Available in two limited-edition colours, the new Tern TX combines Shearwater’s compact dive computer with a marine conservation initiative supporting coral restoration and ocean protection projects.
Tern TX Limited Edition
Shearwater has introduced two limited-edition versions of its Tern TX dive computer, available in blue and purple colourways inspired by healthy oceans and recovering coral reefs. Only 750 units of each colour will be produced worldwide, with a contribution from every sale supporting marine conservation organisations working on coral restoration and marine protection.
The limited-edition models retain all the features of the standard Tern TX. Designed in a compact watch-style format, the computer features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with customisable layouts and watch faces. It supports Air, Nitrox, 3-Gas Nitrox, Gauge and Freediving modes, making it suitable for recreational and advanced sport divers.
The Tern TX also includes wireless air integration for up to four transmitters, a three-axis digital compass, vibration alerts, Bluetooth connectivity and wireless rechargeable battery charging. The computer is depth rated to 120 metres and incorporates Shearwater's Remora quick-release strap system, allowing straps to be changed without tools.
Distinctive to the limited edition are a custom stainless-steel bezel and colour-matched quick-release silicone straps. While the hardware and software remain unchanged, the special editions offer an opportunity to personalise the computer while contributing to environmental initiatives.
The Limited Edition Tern TX is aimed at divers seeking a compact, feature-rich dive computer with air integration and navigation capabilities, while also supporting projects focused on ocean conservation.
