Fourth Element Technical Shorts

The Fourth Element Technical Shorts are worn over a wetsuit to provide storage and protection for divers who need the functionality of drysuit pockets while diving in warmer water. Designed for recreational and technical diving alike, they offer additional carrying capacity without requiring modifications to the wetsuit.

The shorts are reinforced in the seat and crotch with durable Supratex fabric made from recycled polyester, increasing resistance to abrasion when climbing over rocks, ladders or boat decks. A wide waistband with an anti-slip mesh lining keeps the shorts securely in place, while a low-profile buckle and adjustable webbing allow the fit to be tailored without creating pressure points beneath a harness or weight belt.

The most distinctive feature is the pair of large technical pockets, based on the design used on Fourth Element's Argonaut drysuits. Constructed from Cordura fabric, they include internal bungee loops for securing accessories, a dedicated sleeve for wetnotes, and mesh drainage panels that allow water to escape quickly after the dive.

The Technical Shorts are intended for divers who use wetsuits but require additional storage for items such as delayed surface marker buoys, reels, backup masks or wetnotes. They provide a practical solution for photographers, instructors and technical divers who need equipment readily accessible underwater.
