Following the successful 2022 launch of the Teric Journeys Edition, Shearwater Research is excited to announce the next chapter in its Journeys series with the debut of the Perdix 2 Journeys Edition.

Drawing inspiration from the history of diving helmets and tools — this new edition features a bold bronze-coloured titanium bezel, combining rugged reliability with Shearwater’s fully-featured flagship Perdix 2 dive computer.

A custom-designed sleeve invites divers into a world of underwater exploration, supported by a marketing campaign that celebrates legendary dive destinations including the Red Sea, Malta, Iceland, and Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.

“We know that divers value choice when it comes to colours and finishes,” said Josh Horoshok, VP Sales and Marketing at Shearwater Research. “After the success of the Teric Journeys Edition, it made perfect sense to bring the bronze titanium bezel to our highly popular flagship model, the Perdix 2.”

The Perdix 2 Journeys Edition will make its global debut this week at the TDEX Dive Show in Bangkok, Thailand, where Shearwater distributor Dive Space will showcase the full range of Shearwater dive computers, including this striking new model. 

Shearwater will begin shipping May 20th so North American divers will be sure to see the Perdix 2 Journeys Edition for sale at Scuba Show, Long Beach, California, May 31–June 1. 

“This is an homage to the original Teric Journeys Edition, but more importantly, it offers a new option for our technical diving community,” added Horoshok. “The campaign celebrates iconic dive sites — ideal environments for technical divers to explore, test their skills, and connect with diving’s adventurous spirit.”

Continuing their dedication to extraordinary dive experiences, Shearwater also announced its participation in two 2027 expeditions to Truk Lagoon with Dirty Dozen Expeditions. 

As a special guest aboard the M/V Odyssey, Shearwater will join divers in exploring one of the world’s most renowned wreck diving destinations — a true playground for technical diving enthusiasts.
