Airlines postpone the resumption of services to Sharm el Sheikh until the New Year.
British Airways flights are cancelled up to and including 14 January and Easyjet services to the Egyptian resort are suspended until at least 6 January. Scandinavian Airlines informs that their flights are on hold until end of January.
Monarch has cencelled up to 19. December, while Thomson og Thomas Cook have cancelled up to 9. and 10. December respectlvely.
The moves follow security concerns after the terrorist bombing of a Russian aircraft on October 31.
Flights to the resort were suspended by the UK Government on November 4 after an Airbus 321 operated by Russian airline Metrojet crashed, killing 224 people.
Two thirds of the tourists in the Egyptian resort town are Russian or British. Both countries have brought their citizens home.
