The Sea Dragon Mini 1600 from SeaLife is a compact LED dive torch yielding up to 1,600 lumens courtesy of a Luminus SFT‑40 emitter. Its narrow beam angle—6° in air and approximately 4.5° underwater—delivers focused illumination ideal for long‑range pointing or spotting sea life in crevices. Its anodised aluminium body is depth-rated to 100 metres, and dual O‑ring seals combine with a safety pressure‑release valve to protect internal components.

One-button control manages five operation modes: full (1,600 lm), half (800 lm), quarter (400 lm), one‑second flash signal and emergency SOS at full power. An optional Instant-On setting permits rapid activation via a button tap. The built-in battery-indicator LED shifts from green to amber to red to show remaining charge. Powered by a single 18650 rechargeable Li‑ion cell, it offers run times of roughly 1 hour at full power, 2 hours at half, and up to 4 hours at quarter power when used with a 3,500 mAh cell; options include a 4,000 mAh cell that extends runtimes to about 1.2, 2.4 and 4.8 hours respectively.

Ergonomically designed with grip zones around the activation button and tail, the Mini 1600 fits comfortably in the hand or BCD pocket. Supplied accessories include a wrist lanyard with BCD clip, spare O‑rings and silicone lube. The optional YS mount adapter supports mounting to camera accessories.
