Nomad Mini Sidemount System

The Dive Rite Nomad Mini Sidemount System is a streamlined sidemount buoyancy compensator developed for divers seeking a compact configuration with reduced bulk. Designed around the requirements of warm-water diving and travel, the system is intended primarily for use with aluminium 80 cu ft cylinders and provides 25 lb (11.3 kg) of lift. Its low-profile wing is based on the Nomad platform but scaled down to minimise drag and improve packing efficiency.

The system incorporates a low-profile inflator assembly and integrated over-pressure valves to support buoyancy management while maintaining a streamlined profile. Areas subject to abrasion are reinforced with SuperFabric, a durable material used to improve resistance to wear in high-contact zones. The harness features independently replaceable components, allowing individual webbing sections to be adjusted or replaced without changing the entire harness.

Custom stainless-steel hardware is included to support fit adjustment and equipment attachment. The modular design allows divers to tailor the configuration to their body size and diving requirements while maintaining a compact footprint.

The Nomad Mini is aimed at recreational sidemount divers, instructors, and travelling divers who do not require the lift capacity of larger technical sidemount systems. Its focus is on reducing size and weight while retaining the core functionality expected from a dedicated sidemount platform.
