The Long Island Divers Association (LIDA) will return on Saturday, October 25, 2025 to host its 37th Annual Film Festival.
We will once again be holding this event on the campus of Hofstra University. And in keeping with the spirit of the season, there may even be a few Halloween-themed surprises!
This yearβs event will feature a slate of great speakers and accomplished photographers and videographers who will present their incredible work highlighting adventures under the sea.
In addition, we will again be hosting our very popular after show party, complete with a sumptuous food and refreshments. All this, plus exciting and valuable raffle prizes, will make the evening a must-attend for all SCUBA Divers, Freedivers, Snorkelers and anyone interested in exploring our underwater world!
LIDAβs Annual Film Festival is designed to provide an evening of stellar entertainment followed by a party where all members of our community can gather to share stories of the dive season that has passed and to begin planning adventures for the year ahead.

Our Film Festival will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the after party following from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
