Jim Elliott $60K for 60 Birthday Challenge

Posted in:

Jim Elliott is turning 60 today and Diveheart is launching the Jim Elliott $60K for 60 Birthday Challenge...

In 1997, Jim decided he wanted to help give hope and healing to people with disabilities, inspire people of all abilities and to simply... CHANGE THE WORLD. He became a scuba instructor and immediately started offering Scuba Therapy to people who wanted to experience the calming effects of being in and under the water. Then, in 2001, he incorporated Diveheart to put a name and organization behind his efforts. Over the next 16 years his baby, Diveheart, changed the scuba industry and expanded the reach of adaptive diving and how it can impact and enhance the lives of people of all abilities.

Jim has built Diveheart with the help of many supports, volunteers and friends, but we think that all would say that it is the palpable enthusiasm and passion of Jim in pursuit of his mission that drives Diveheart's accomplishments. When you speak with Jim, he makes you believe anything can happen, he makes you see that no effort is too small or wasted, he inspires you to do more. Jim genuinely wants people of all abilities to be inspired and enrich their lives and the lives of other through Diveheart's training and programs.

To put it simply, Jim has changed many lives for the better over the past 20 years he has dedicated his life to making Diveheart.

We hope you will help us celebrate his birthday, his accomplishments and his mission by making a donation.
