The event, which was scheduled to include the 2025 Winners' Announcement Ceremony and the celebration of the competition's 20th anniversary, will now be deferred to January 2027.

A Proud History: Two Decades of Excellence

As you know, the upcoming January event was meant to be a true celebration, filled with nostalgia and pride. We were the first to set the goal of granting prestigious awards and substantial cash prizes to photographers. Over the years, we have distributed prizes valued at over one million dollars, including $276,000 in cash prizes—and we are proud that many photographers went home with a check in hand.

Refund of Participation Fees

For all photographers who have already registered for the 2025 competition and paid the participation fees, we will begin the refund process immediately. Your entry fees will be refunded to you in full via PayPal or credit card.

The 2025-2026 Competition is Underway!

As the event has been postponed, we are now launching a 
new competition with an extended timeframe.  You may submit photographs taken from November 2, 2024, until November 1, 2026.

A New Opportunity: Legacy in Two Decades

Any new photograph you submit by December 30, 2025, will be considered for inclusion in the list of the 100 Best Photographs to be selected for the Legacy in Two Decades competition. and will also be automatically included in the selection of "The Five Images of Two Decades."

Finally, we would like to thank you, the participating photographers, for the unique and surprising creations you submit to the production team and the judges, as well as to our sponsors, who grant you the prestigious awards and recognition at the esteemed World Shootout competition.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this postponement and commit ourselves to making the 2027 event the best one ever!
