Halcyon introduces ERA and Legend MK2 wings

Posted in:

Halcyon Dive Systems has launched two new buoyancy wings—the Era and Legend MK2—developed to meet the demands of modern divers. Both wings are designed to optimise trim, hose routing, and in-water performance, and are supported by updates to the company’s digital platform.

The Era is a single-tank wing that features a newly shaped bladder and shell, engineered to improve lift distribution and assist in achieving horizontal trim. The unit incorporates four internal Opti‑Weight zippered pockets, allowing divers to adjust trim weight directly within the wing structure. Dual pass-throughs support custom hose routing, while a low-profile inflator elbow sits close to the cylinder to reduce bulk.

The Legend MK2 is the latest evolution of Halcyon’s double-tank wing. This model also includes four Opti‑Weight pockets and a redesigned shell for quicker drainage post-dive. Pass-throughs support tidy hose management, and a compact elbow promotes streamlined integration.

Both wings are intended for divers seeking improved trim and minimal profile. According to Halcyon, the Legend MK2 builds on the performance of the original design while incorporating feedback from the field. A variant compatible with closed‑circuit rebreathers is in development.

The launch coincides with the release of Halcyon’s redesigned website, which presents an updated interface for researching equipment and exploring upcoming products.
