The Shearwater Swift GPS is a compact transmitter designed to extend the functionality of any Shearwater air‑integrated dive computer by capturing surface GPS coordinates of dive entry and exit points and providing real‑time gas‑pressure data during the dive. The device supports a depth rating of 200 metres and operates within an ambient temperature range of +4 °C to +34 °C (with short‑term tolerance from ‑10 °C to +50 °C). Weight is approximately 135 g and dimensions are 76 mm (length) × 34 mm (diameter).

The GNSS system supports multiple constellations—GPS L1C/A, Galileo E1B/C and BeiDou B1I—with a reported location accuracy of about 4 metres under good conditions and resolution of 2 metres. Battery life is rated up to 100 one‑hour dives (roughly 100 hours) when the GPS is used for 20 minutes before and after each dive, or two years of storage when inactive. Real‑time air‑integration data is transmitted at intervals of approximately 4.8-5.2 seconds for high‑resolution monitoring of tank pressure and remaining bottom time.

Installation is tool‑free and designed to fit directly onto the first stage of the regulator using a standard 7/16″‑20 UNF high‑pressure port, compatible with all current Shearwater air‑integrated dive computers. The Swift GPS is aimed at technical and exploration divers who require logged coordinates of dive locations for mapping, crew debriefing, or post‑dive analysis rather than only live telemetry during the dive.
