The European biennial advanced and technical diving convention
This international diving event comprises three elements; an exhibition, a conference and a gala awards dinner. EUROTEK is truly European - we have delegates from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Gemany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and of course Great Britian attend. It is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded divers.
Do you need to be an 'ardent techie' to attend EUROTEK? No! Just a diver or instructor hungry to know more about diving. We also welcome attendees from other diving communities; commercial, miliary, media, medicine and scientific to EUROTEK. Whether you are a budding tekkie, a hard-core explorer, a diving doctor, or simply interested in spicing-up your diving, EUROTEK is for you. We promise you will leave empowered, educated and enthused.
Founded in 2008 by three divers - wreck photographer Leigh Bishop, industry fixer Rosemary E Lunn (Roz) and the late Carl Spencer - EUROTEK has established itself as the ‘must attend’ European biennial advanced and technical diving convention. This international diving event comprises three elements; an exhibition, a conference and a gala awards dinner.
The two-day ‘show and tell’ expo has over 35 UK and overseas specialist companies exhibiting. This gives you an excellent opportunity to benefit from good quality facetime with the leading manufacturers, relevant training agencies and engaged destinations, boats and centres. EUROTEK is the perfect place for having your questions answered and getting up to date, without being sold to.
Be inspired. Be educated. Be challenged. Be entertained.
Advanced and technical diving encompasses a wide spectrum of activities. During the weekend a team of international experts, luminaries and diving legends from all over the globe will present at EUROTEK. You have the opportunity of accessing 40 different educational and inspiring talks and useful workshops that cover the many aspects of diving. From shipwrecks, cave diving and physiology through to technique, safety, scientific and imaging - there is something for every diver. Your only problem will be choosing who to listen to next.
We also know how to celebrate success at EUROTEK. The Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony recognises achievements in advanced or technical diving. This 'highlight in the diving calendar' is hosted by EUROTEK organisers Leigh Bishop, Mark Dixon and Rosemary E Lunn. It is the perfect occasion to catch up with old friends and make new ones, whilst enjoying rubbing shoulders with explorers, experts and the ‘Whose Who’ of tech diving.
It is little wonder that EUROTEK is now synonymous with the spirit of adventure, exploration and excellence in diving.
