DEMA announces the 2021 Board of Directors

DEMA, the American-based Diving Equipment and Marketing Association, has confirmed that the 2021 Board of Directors election results are in.

Dan Orr has been re-elected to the DEMA Board. He is pictured here with fellow industry consultant Betty Orr.

The following individuals will serve three terms.

The newly elected Board Members

Jenna Meistrell worked for PADI as a marketing intern prior to her graduation from the University of San Diego, USA. She is currently the Brand Manager for Body Glove and Marquee Brands.

Jeff Mondle owned and operated Treasure Cove Scuba, in Ohio from 1977–1983. In 1994, he joined PADI as a Sales and Field Services Director. Today, Mondle is PADI Media Group Director.

Dan Orr helped put DAN on the map during his 23 years of service at Divers Alert Network. Following his retirement in 2013, he founded Dan Orr Consulting, along with his wife Betty. Today, amongst other things, Orr serves as the Chairman of the Board at the Academy of Underwater Arts and Science.

Patrick Hammer founded Scuba Emporium, Illinois in 1974. He has organised the dive show Our World Underwater since 1975, and has previously served on the DEMA Board.

Bradley Barnett has worked in franchise network and strategic development, before running a multi-million dollar telephone company. Today, he runs three dive centres based in Little Cayman, Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman.
